Hi there,

I just uploaded a live music recording and it ended up under "community audio." Before I go and reupload the entire set, I wanted to post here and see if there was any easy way to get it moved to the live music archive.

I can make any changes needed to the files as well. I apologize for the error on my end, but this is the first time I tried to upload anything to the site. :(

Here is the upload - http://archive.org/details/SteveThompson-12-7-2012-HambonesPub-LawrencevillePa

we can moved it but you would first need to make a couple of changes.
1. You need to have lossless format (e.g. flac, wav, aiff)in the item
2. You need to add a .txt file with the set list to populate the item's metadata.

let me know when that's done and we can move it.

Also, is there a Live Music Archive collection for Steve Thompson? You can't just upload any live music to archive.org; the artist has to grant explicit permission for hosting here.

I am Steve Thompson actually. I am starting to record all acoustic shows as bootlegs.

I will get these files up in a lossless format today. Sorry for not doing it right the first time!

Fantastic! We'll create a collection so you can upload to it; here are the instructions for making sure it ends up in the Live Music Archive rather than Community Audio:

Greenone,
Is there a way to get a Bob & Ray collection set up in an OTR area? I sent an email about starting one to info(at) but never received a reply.
This is a seres of 1970's rado show reels that are not available here. At least three other people would like to here them.

Sorry, I don't know a thing about the OTR collection. Your best bet is to email Jeff Kaplan (kaplan@archive) and he can guide you in the right direction.

Thank you very much! It may be easier to simply remove the old community audio page and files and just upload the lossless files to the collection. Let me know what is easier for you guys!

Thank you again!
